About myself

I’m a computer engineer specializing in the field of Cyber Security. I’m passionate about Cryptography and in the last five years I got interested in the Blockchain technology and distributed systems. I’m also fond with the semantics of computer programming language, with Python, Haskell and Idris my favourite languages.

I’m currently working at the European Central Bank (ECB) as a Senior Cyber Security Expert in the Directorate General Market Infrastructures and Payments. Previously I was an IT Auditor and Advisor at the Internal Audit Directorate of Banca d’Italia. In the private sector, I worked as the Head of the Development laboratory at Land S.r.l., a security-oriented firm where I developed a patent to digitally sign paper documents (Secure Paper™).

I’m a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA, a GIAC System and Network Auditor (GSNA) from SANS, a certified Lead Auditor for the ISO/IEC 27001/2013 and I earned a number of ITIL certifications.
